The Hong Kong Engineering Management Chapter is one of local chapters, which mostly concerned with the principles and application of management to varied disciplines such as science, engineering, and technology. It has been the cultural gap between engineering and management of local industries and many engineers and managers find difficulties to make successful and viable integration of the two.

The primary purpose of the Chapter is to communicate by all possible means with local engineering / management practitioners to exchange their views and experiences through hosting presentations, technical meetings or programs that will enhance the overall knowledge of participants and broaden the application of engineering management in local community.
